Lori Sellers is a Licensed Practical Nurse for A Promise of Hope, Inc.  She is a Boise native, having lived in this community her entire life.

Lori received her LPN in 1993 from Boise State University.  Prior to joining our staff, she spent 20 years working at a local skilled nursing facility, where she developed a strong affinity for the geriatric population.  Now specializing in geriatrics, Lori is very passionate about shifting her focus to hospice and comfort care to assist with end-of-life treatment and support.  Her deep concern for her patients, and the personal attention she provides has made her an exceptional asset to the nursing staff at A Promise of Hope, Inc.  She has a gift for assisting the patient and family through the transition from life to death with great sensitivity and compassion for all involved.  Her attention to detail makes this difficult process much easier for everyone, despite the emotional challenges.

Lori has been married for 30 years and has two grown children.  She loves gardening more than any other activity outside of work, using this avocation to help relieve stress in her life when needed.  In addition, she enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, camping in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.  She is a caring individual who truly feels she has found her life’s calling in caring for patients facing difficult circumstances.  We feel fortunate to have her on our team.
