A Promise of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Team.
During their time in hospice, our patients are cared for by a comprehensive team of licensed professionals led by our Medical Director, Dr. Mark Turner.The Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) consist of the patient's primary care physician, Certified Nursing Assistants, Chaplains, Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Volunteers.

- Professional nursing staff
- On-call professional nursing available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Who Pays for Hospice?
Typically, Hospice is paid for by Medicare, Medicaid or Private Insurance. In some rare instances,Hospice is covered by individuals who cover the cost on their own.
We Offer Four Levels of Care For Our Patients.
A Promise of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care provides home care, continuous care for crisis intervention, inpatient care for patients in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient respite care.
Diagnoses That Lead to A Promise of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care:
All end stage illnesses, including but not limited to: cancer, stroke, Alzheimer's, COPD, congestive heart failure, AIDS, kidney failure and Parkinson's Disease.
Entering Hospice Care.
A patient may enter Hospice care when:
- Their physician makes a diagnosis of an illness as hospice appropriate.
- Their physician certifies a prognosis that the patient has 6 months or less to live.
- Their physician and/or loved ones make a request to A Promise of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care.
